Her name "Princess Angie J" stands for "Princess of Angie J [Socialite, LLC]," as she is our Face and Founder of the company.

Princess Angie J was born on January 7th and first began her journey as an actress and performer at just 10 years old. She performed in a plethora of live productions since she was 10 and then ventured deeper into the world of Theatre throughout her adulthood; including but not limited to Abiyoyo, South Pacific, Beauty and the Beast, The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, etc.
In 2010, she started creating online content using her then blog, www.angiej.com (which was originally started as a sole-proprietorship project under a different domain, but has now been revolutionized into the official ANGIE J website).
Princess Angie J "sporadically" produced online media before finally dedicating herself to her current work, as her earlier years were primarily spent on academic studies. Before her role as founder was solidified, her time was filled with plans of attending local universities to pursue multiple degrees or starting a business. She was a multipotentialite whose interests spanned across several areas: Literature, Visual Arts, Business, Social Science, Technology, Performance Arts, and more. As one of her final achievements around 2016, she planned to earn a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Unfortunately, though, the enjoyment Princess found in the subject was not enough to truly convince her to pursue Social Science indefinitely. The reality of being catapulted into her new life finally took its toll on her before she applied because, although she loved Psychology, that was not where her heart was. Despite the disapproval from some of her advisors and teachers that believed she was "wasting her potential" on Theatre as a high-achieving and gifted individual who earned straight A's throughout her life, Princess Angie J wanted to attend the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University or Columbia College Chicago for her Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. But financial stressors, lack of time, and scarce resources quickly ended her plans to attend a performance arts school.
Then, in 2017, with all of her previous plans up in smoke and her dreams floating in the wind, Princess grew a passion for nail technology after watching videos about nail education for beginners on YouTube. She became a caregiver for three consecutive years in order to help her family financially and so she could save enough money in order to attend a cosmetology school for Nail Technology; earn her certification; and start her own business as a manicurist. She studied at home and, during her third year of caregiving, she finally saved enough money for her education.
In 2020, Princess applied for nail school and was accepted but never made it to her first day of class as lockdown for the pandemic began 24 hours before her first official day of beauty school.
After being trapped in her home for over a year, she no longer felt that she absolutely needed to attend nail school. From 2017 to 2020, while preparing to dedicate her life to nail technology, she had been discreetly exploring the possibility of growing her presence online through social media and learning ways of earning money as a media personality.
In 2021, she decided that it was time to evolve; transform her small blog (www.angiej.com); and build an online entertainment company using her business knowledge that she gained while preparing to start her career as a manicurist.
On February 7, 2022, her goal to build ANGIE J was born.
